Hi, I’m Madeleine. I’ve spent the last twenty years immersed in the world of people, talent, performance, and leadership, usually in fast‑moving and high‑performance environments, and always with a deep belief that people are capable of far more than they realise when they’re supported well along with a healthy dosage of stretch.
My career has taken me through fintech start‑ups, hedge funds, investment management, media and global matrix organisations. I’ve built People, Talent, and Learning functions from scratch; sat on Executive Committees; partnered with founders and CEOs; and shaped cultures during moments of intense growth, pressure, and change. I’ve worked in companies ranging from 2 people to 5,000 people and what I’ve learned is this: despite the different environments or industries, human beings are remarkably similar in what they need to thrive — clarity, trust, challenge, and a sense of purpose.
I’ve always been fascinated by human behaviour and the systems we operate in. Whether I was redesigning performance frameworks, strengthening leadership capability, building early‑talent pipelines, or coaching analysts and senior leaders, my work has always centred on helping people grow in a way that feels both ambitious and sustainable.
Over time, I realised that what I loved most wasn’t just building talent strategies — it was the conversations. The moments where someone sees themselves more clearly, reconnects with their confidence, or finds a way forward they couldn’t see before. Coaching became the thread running through everything I did, long before I formally trained.
Today, as a coach and talent consultant, I bring all of that experience with me: the commercial grounding of high‑performance environments, the systemic understanding of how organisations really work, and the human warmth that helps people feel safe enough to think bravely.
My coaching style is calm, clear, and deeply supportive, blended with enough challenge to help clients stretch into who they want to become. I work with leaders who want to grow intentionally, navigate ambiguity and complexity with more ease, and lead in a way that feels aligned with who they are and where they want to get to.
For organisations, I offer the perspective of someone who has built and led People and Talent functions end‑to‑end. I understand the realities of scaling, regulation, culture change, and performance pressure and offer a pragmatic lens to finding solutions that feel right for the company size, evolution point or organisational goal.
I hold a Practioner Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC), am Hogan certified, a CIPD Associate member and am educated in Organisational Development through Roffey Park. I align to the International Coaching Federations (ICF) ethics and integrity standards. But more than anything, I’m driven by a belief that learning is lifelong and that growth is always possible — at every stage of a career, and every stage of life. Growth looks different for different people in different moments and I relish the diversity and uniqueness each person or organisation I work with brings. This work is where my experience and my purpose meet. It’s a privilege to walk alongside people and organisations as they grow.
I’m passionate about growth – in all shapes and forms. When I’m not coaching or helping organisations and their people grow you’ll find me in my garden tending to my plants. It is from nature that I take much inspiration and energy. Nature reminds me that growth can manifest in a multitude of ways, often quietly underground and unseen but that can be the most stabilising and powerful of all.
